Idle Hand is a custom tattoo studio located in the Lower Haight. It was created by TJ Hernandez in early 2004. Holly joined the shop a few months later and the roster of artists grew from there. In 2007 Holly took over as the new owner and TJ can now be found tattooing in LA at American Electric Tattoo in L.A. 3532 Sunset Blvd. 323.664.6530

With 8 artists there is a wide range of styles to choose from. Several of the artists work on an appointment only basis but there are always 2 artists available for walkins. The shop is open every day from 12 - 8pm.
